Recently, Marvel – through a dope Twitter marketing campaign with Robert Downey Jr announced that the new release date for Avengers: Infinity War is now April 27th and today, they have released the 2nd and final trailer for the film.

The biggest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet, and the film with the most superheroes ever, Infinity War is bound to be a box office super-hit. While you enjoy the beautiful trailer, see list of characters that have been confirmed to make an appearance in the movie.

  1. Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man

The leader and benefactor of the Avengers who is a self-described genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist with electromechanical suits of armor of his own making

  1. Chris Hemsworth as Thor

King of Asgard; Thor’s storyline picks up after the events of Thor: Ragnarok, which finds him in a (according to the Director) “very profound place” and gives him “a real emotional motivation after the destruction of Asgard.

  1. Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk

Genius scientist who, because of exposure to gamma radiation, transforms into a monster when enraged or agitated. The character continues a story arc that was established in Thor: Ragnarok and concludes in the Infinity War sequel

  1. Chris Evans as Steve Rogers

Formerly known as Captain America, Steve Rogers is a World War II veteran, who was enhanced to the peak of human physicality by an experimental serum and frozen in suspended animation before waking up in the modern world. He is now a fugitive – after the events of Captain America: Civil War.

  1. Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow

A highly trained spy and former Avenger and agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. She took Captain America’s side in Civil War and her story arc continues from there.

  1. Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange

A former neurosurgeon who, after a car accident that led to a journey of healing, discovered the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions and became a Master of the Mystic Arts. Cumberbatch last appeared in Thor: Ragnarok, where he helped Thor find Odin.

  1. Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes / War Machine

A former officer in the U.S. Air Force who operates the War Machine armor and is an Avenger. His fall from the sky in Civil War almost rendered him crippled. But these are superheroes with mad technology. He will walk again.

  1. Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man

A teenager and Stark’s protegé who received spider-like abilities after being bitten by a genetically-modified spider.

  1. Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther

The king of the African nation of Wakanda, who gained his enhanced strength by ingesting the Heart-Shaped Herb

  1. Paul Bettany as Vision

An android created using the artificial intelligence J.A.R.V.I.S. and the Mind Stone.

  1. Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch

Made her first appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Her destroying a building that had civilians in Civil War led to calls for the Avengers to sign away their complete freedom. This led to the split in the Avengers. Now a member of Rogers’ faction, she can harness magic and engage in hypnosis and telekinesis.

  1. Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon

A member of Rogers’ faction of Avengers and former pararescueman trained by the military in aerial combat using a specially designed wing pack

  1. Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / White Wolf

An enhanced assassin and Rogers’ ally and best friend, who reemerged brainwashed after being thought killed in action during World War II. While he formerly went by Winter Soldier, the people of Wakanda who helped remove his Hydra programming renamed him White Wolf.

  1. Tom Hiddleston as Loki

Thor’s adoptive brother and nemesis based on the deity of the same name. Basically made the Avengers come together in the first place and has played villian, hero and anti-hero since then.

  1. Idris Elba as Heimdall

The all-seeing, all-hearing Asgardian former sentry of the Bifröst Bridge, based on the deity of the same name.

  1. Peter Dinklage

We’re not sure what character he’s playing yet, but this is Tyrion Lannister for God’s sakes. It will be lit.

  1. Benedict Wong as Wong

One of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, tasked with protecting some of Kamar-Taj’s most valuable relics and books

  1. Pom Klementieff as Mantis

A member of the Guardians with empathic powers

  1. Karen Gillan as Nebula

An adopted daughter of Thanos who was raised with Gamora as siblings

  1. Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer

A member of the Guardians and warrior in search of vengeance against Thanos for killing his family

  1. Zoe Saldana as Gamora

A member of the Guardians who is an orphan from an alien world who seeks redemption for her past crimes. She was trained by Thanos to be his personal assassin

  1. Vin Diesel as Groot

A member of the Guardians who is a tree-like humanoid. After getting ‘destroyed’ in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 1, he returned in Vol 2 as a ‘baby’. He will be an adolescent in Infinity War.

  1. Bradley Cooper as Rocket

Rocket is a genetically-engineered raccoon-based bounty hunter and mercenary, and is a master of weapons and battle tactics. He is a member of the Guardians

  1. Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts:

Stark’s fianceé and the CEO of Stark Industries

  1. Benicio del Toro as Taneleer Tivan / The Collector

An obsessive keeper of the largest collection of interstellar fauna, relics, and species of all manner in the galaxy

  1. Josh Brolin as Thanos

An intergalactic despot from Titan who longs to collect all of the Infinity Stones in order to impose his will on all of reality. He is the most formidable supervillain the Avengers have ever opposed, yet.

  1. Chris Pratt as Peter Quill / Star-Lord

The half-human, half-Celestial leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy who was abducted from Earth as a child and raised by a group of alien thieves and smugglers called the Ravagers.

  1. Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye

A master archer and former agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and member of Avengers

  1. Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill

The former commander and deputy director of S.H.I.E.L.D. who works closely with Nick Fury.

  1. Danai Gurira as Okoye

The head of the Dora Milaje, the all-female special forces of Wakanda who serve as T’Challa’s bodyguards.

  1. Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man

A member of Rogers’ faction of Avengers and a former petty criminal who acquired a suit that allows him to shrink and grow in scale while also increasing in strength

  1. Letitia Wright as Shuri

T’Challa’s sister and the princess of Wakanda who designs new technology for the country

  1. Winston Duke as M’Baku

The leader of Wakanda’s mountain tribe, the Jabari.

  1. Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie

An Asgardian, based on the mythological being Brynhildr, who was once a legendary warrior of the Valkyrior

  1. Angela Bassett as Ramonda

T’Challa and Shuri’s mother and Queen Mother of Wakanda.

Of course, Stan Lee will make his usual cameo in the film.
