Jacinda Ardern, 37 Prime Minister of NEW ZEALAND
Jacinda Ardern was born 26 July 1980. She was elected MP at a by-election in February this year and about a month later, she became Deputy Leader of the party, after the incumbent resigned. In August, she became leader of the party when, again, the incumbent resigned, due to low poll result for the party.
She led her party to general elections, and, even though they did not win majority of the seats, a coalition with New Zealand’s First and the Green Party has made her the world’s youngest female leader.
