A simple trick/tip can do what normal drugs can do, you know. From clearing a stuffy nose to relieving a mosquito bite itch, here are some simple health hacks that could solve a minor problem in a jiffy.

  1. Activated Charcoal for teeth whitening

Get those stains off your teeth with activated charcoal. Due to its natural adhesive properties (wrote on it HERE), it binds to surface stains like coffee, wine and takes them off when spat out.

  1. Hot spoon for mosquito bite

Mosquito bites are usually accompanied with itching. This is caused by proteins that are injected into the skin by mosquitoes to prevent blood clotting. Hold the back of a hot spoon on the bite for two mins for relief. The heat denatures the protein.
