Very little is known about Mr. No Bad Songs, Kizz Dainel, as the singer prefers to keep his affairs private and under the radar. However, we recently had a chat with the crooner and a lot of what we gathered is quite informative. Without further ado, see 12 things you probably didn’t know about him.

1.Early life

Kizz Daniel was born and brought up in Abeokuta, Ogun state, he attended Ogun International Montessori, then did his secondary school education at Abeokuta Grammar School before obtaining his BSC at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta.

2. Spirituality

This might come as a surprise, but amidst all the glitz, glamour and impeccable fashion sense, is a very spiritually conscious human being who enjoys reading spiritually uplifting literature. He is also a member of Winners Chapel.

3. Loves TV

This may not come as a surprise because of his baby-faced look; Kizz daniel loves to watch TV, especially cartoons and Anime, of which his favourite is Naruto. He also loves shows like Modern Family, Game of Thrones, When They See Us.

4. Kizz Daniel is a “Scholar”

Kizz Daniel is one of the very few that would still be successful if they had not gone into music because he is indeed a bookworm. It is worth knowing that he graduated from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta with a 4.37 CGPA in Water Engineering.

5. Favourite football club

For those of you who do not know, Kizz Daniel is an Arsenal fan. But while his club has consistently failed to deliver, Kizz Daniel has done the exact opposite, delivering on back to back hits and sold out shows. I mean, only just yesterday, Apple Music listed him as one of the top 10 most streamed artistes in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa for 2019. So while he supports a club that doesn’t win trophies, he is winning trophies in real life.

6. Alternative career

It is quite obvious that Kizz Daniel loves fashion, and very few can match his fashion sense, but what you should know is that fashion is much more than a passion to him. If he wasn’t an entertainer, he would have been a fashion designer. Or a Marine Engineer.

7. Other family members in entertainment

Kizz Daniel is not the only one in his family involved in music and entertainment. His brother Folu serves as his manager while his sister works at Cool FM, Kano.

8. Loves Junk Food

Kizz Daniel is a junk food junkie. From burgers, fries to Pizza, junk makes up a bulk of the singer’s diet. However, he makes sure to burn all that with his regular midnight jogs and frequent visits to the gym.

9. Indoors over outdoors

You would think that with his good looks and fashion sense, Kizz Daniel would absolutely love going out, but the singer prefers to stay indoors with his cartoons and his music, and away from all the drama outside.

10. He has written songs for your favorites

Arguably Africa’s best songwriter – sure you can tell from his body of work – Kizz Daniel has written dope songs for other artistes. We are not at liberty to disclose who and who, but some of your favorites have immensely benefited from Kizz Daniel’s penmanship.

11. Philanthropy

We are also not at liberty to give exact details, but Kizz Daniel does a lot of philanthropy. Many students in tertiary institutions owe their continuous stay in school to him. He has paid the medical bills of many and helped other pay rent. Recently, he gave the crooner of the original Pack and Go song N1million, without any fanfare. According to him, “the left hand should not know what the right hand is doing for people”.

12. Relationship Status

Despite the number of women that probably throw themselves at Kizz Daniel and his lover boy look, the singer is still very single!
