We are one – Lion King II: Simba’s Pride
Following Kiara’s encounter with Kovu, Zira and the Outsiders, which puts her in danger, Simba explains how important she is to the pride, how much he and Nala love her, and teaches her that their family and the pride is “one”. It was performed by Simba (Cam Clarke) and Kiara (Charity Sanoy). Angelique Kidjo later did her own version of the song in 1998.
