Prof. Osinbajo Misses out on #RubbinMinds (Read why)

Professor Osinbajo was billed to feature on the hugely popular #RubbinMinds, but he pulled out last minute. This is likely because young Nigerians were mobilizing a demonstration to protest the illegal suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen, the Chief Justice of Nigeria. They were going to assemble at the Channels TV complex where Rubbin Minds was going to be screened live, and the VP possible having gotten intimated decided not to show up anymore.

Recall that prior to this protest, On Friday, January 25, 2019, the President of Nigeria , Muhammadu Buhari, suspended the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Nkannu Samuel Onnoghen from office, and immediately administered the judicial oath of office to the most senior Supreme Court Justice , next in rank to him, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammed as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria. This fueled the protest today.

Organizers of the protest include Andy Obuoforibo, a Rivers State-based traditional leader, Chidi Okereke, a Digital Communications Executive and Idris Dondekojo, a Business man.
