Despite controversies trailing the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the 78th Golden Globe Awards honored the best in American television and film between 2020 and early 2021.

Some of the winners include John Boyega, Daniel Kaluuya, Chadwick Boseman and The Crown series.

One of the biggest surprises of the night is Mank not winning a single award, despite getting the most nominations (6). On the other hand, Netflix – the streaming giants that also distributed Mank – still went home with 10 awards, the most for a distributor.
