Up North The Film – 15 Photos from the Grand Durbar Parade in Lagos

Everybody has been talking about Up North The Film, and for good reason too. The movie, starring Banky W, Rahma Sadau, Kanayo O Kanayo, and a host of other superstars is a Northern themed movie conceptualized by Editi Effiong, directed by Tope Oshin and produced by Anakle Films, a subsidiary of Anakle Ltd, a Digital Advertising Company.

The movie will be having a Northern themed premiere at FilmHouse, Lekki on the 16th of December, but before that, they brought a Durbar to Lagos and paraded the roads of the city. From TBS to Lekki, the regal riders rode their beautiful horses while some northern dressed skaters and acrobats danced to music by a Northern Band. They basically brought Lagos to a standstill as people stopped to get and admire a sneak peek of the spectacle from Northern Nigeria.
