Ric Hassani who is a Pop-African Singer/Songwriter rocked the Nigerian music scene last year with his unique sounds, unique visuals and eccentric sense of style with the release of the song appropriately named ‘Gentleman’.  Born Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu in Port Harcourt, Ric is a gentleman in both his music and his lifestyle, his love for the African culture reflects throughout his sound. Barely one year into the music industry Ric hassani already has a Headies nomination to his name and he has worked stars such as Ice Prince, etc.

  1. Johnny Drille

Tagged as the king of the Alternative and Folk genre in Nigeria, Johnny Drille is unrivaled in his style and sound. Johnny Ighodaro born and raised in Edo State is a songwriter, producer and sound engineer. He gained his first entry into the scene when he contested in the 2013 edition of MTN Project Fame.

He bowed out of the show early, and remained underground until August 2015 when he released the widely accepted song ‘Wait For Me’. This finally brought him into the limelight and gained massive recognition in the year 2016. Recently he released a song titled “My Beautiful Love” and worked with Niniola on the song titled ‘Start All Over’. After getting a Headies nomination last year we can’t help but feel 2017 is Johnny Drille’s year of emergence.
