Globalcom Limited (or GLO) is a Nigerian multinational telecommunications company headquartered in Lagos. GLO is a privately owned telecommunications carrier that started operations on 29 August 2003. It currently operates in four countries in West Africa, namely Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. As of June 2009, the company has employed more than 2,500 people worldwide.

Its more like a wish for most Nigerian celebrities, to be on the Glo ambassador list as they’re well paid and enjoy a lot of deals from this endorsement. They get to go on the Glo tour, host most of there shows both in and out of the countries and lots of other benefits.

These ambassadors are been endorsed for there vital role they play in the industry, through movies and lots more.

Basketmouth is a Nigerian comedian. He’s a king with the mic and has the powers to make you laugh out all troubles. Birthed as Bright Okpocha, Basketmouth is a first-class comedian, actor and businessperson who runs his mega comedy show in Nigeria, from where he earns millions of naira. Basketmouth has penned several endorsement deals, Globacom included. He has been the face of most of Glo’s advert and shows. He’s a popular and influential personality in the entertainment industry, making it a reason brands love to sign him up as an ambassador.

  • 2Face

Innocent Ujah Idibia, known by his stage name 2Baba, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur. Prior to July 2014, he went by the stage name 2face Idibia. He is one of the most decorated and successful Afro pop artists in Africa, and is also one of the most bankable artists in Africa. He signed his endorsement deal in may 2017 after the expiration of his 2 years contract with Airtel.

  • Juliet Ibrahim

Juliet Ibrahim is a Ghanaian actress, film producer, singer and humanitarian of Lebanese, Ghanaian and Liberian descent. She won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2010 Ghana Movie Awards for her role in 4 Play. She has been referred to as the “Most Beautiful West African Woman” according to A-listers Magazine. She was signed along side Olamide and Timaya in 2017.

  • Timaya

Timaya is a very influential singer to whom amongst many other singers a Grammy award nomination was tagged. Timaya throughout his career has commanded respect from other singers his country and in Africa. He’s super wealthy, has signed other endorsement deals aside the Globacom endorsement deals and also, the music idol has won several awards.

  • Gordons

Godwin Komone popularly known as Gordons is a Nigerian Comedian and Musical Artist. He is an indigene of Delta State and an Urhobo by tribe. He signed athe mouth watering deal in 2016.

  • Omawumi

Top Nigerian female musician, Omawumi, is one of the brand ambassadors of Globacom. She’s gifeted vocally and also got fans across Africa. Alongside female singers like Yemi Alade and Cynthia Morgan, Omawumi is at the top of her music career at this moment. She’s got lots of money now and is comfortably living high.

  • Anthony Joshua

Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, OBE (born 15 October 1989) is a British professional boxer. He is currently a unified world heavyweight champion, holding three of the four major championships in boxing: the IBF title since 2016, the WBA (Super) title since 2017, and the WBO title since 2018. He has also held the IBO title since 2017, and at regional level he held the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles from 2014 to 2016. He is the most recent ambassador of Globalcom, signed on the 2nd of February 2019.
