Nigerians Protest the Abuja Police Raid on Women

Protest - Abuja Police Raid on Women

Nigerians in Lagos and the FCT took to the streets to protest the recent Abuja Police raid on women; where men of the force arrested women in clubs and lounges, locked them up, and allegedly raped some of them.

The protests – a collaborative effort between Stand To End Rape, Market March, WWNBS (We Will Not Be Silent), As Equals Africa and TeaWAfrica – had the protesters demand justice for the victims of the raid, demand that further raids be stopped immediately, and insist that rapist policemen be brought to justice.
