Big Brother Naija is back, and this year, the reality show is themed “Pepper Dem”. With 21 housemates from all over Nigeria, and beyond, the contestants – the finalists at least – will be spending 99 days in the house, which is located somewhere in Ilupeju, Lagos. But without further ado, see all 21 of them.

1. Avala

Saidat “Avala” Balogun’s studied music and business at York College in Queens, New York. Her highest point in life is when she gave birth to her daughter. She is not single and is not ready to mingle!

2. Diane

Diane is 23 and from Kaduna. She’s is single, loves dancing (albeit terribly), and is in the house for the money!

3. Ella

Victoria “Ella” Nnabuchi is 30 and from Anambra State. She was a runner up in a popular music talent search show and she’s a television presenter, voice-over artist, actress and model. She’s single but not available. She loves attention and doesn’t like to wear clothes.

4. Esther

Esther is a 22 year old lawyer and part time hustler from Lagos. She’s in the house for the money, the experience, and the fun.

5. Frodd

Frodd is 28 and from Anambra State. His name is a coinage of the words “Fresh and odd.” He has a regular 9 to 5 job and is not an entertainer.

6. Gedoni

Ekpata Gedoni is a 31 year old fashion entrepreneur from Cross River State. He enjoys basketball, soccer, taking walks and cleaning the house! His other talents include writing poetry and drawing portraits with pencil.

7. Ike

Ike is a 26 year old model from Imo State. He wants to give everyone drama and romance and wants the viewers to expect a lot of attitude from him.

8. Isilomo

Isilomo is from Edo State. The 27 year old woman is adventurous and wants us to expect a lot of fun from her

9. Jackye

Jackye is 23 and from Anambra State. According to her, she is a chameleon and she is in the house for the money.

10. Jeff

Jeff is 30 and from Anambra State. He says he doesn’t have a strategy, but wants to have fun and cause trouble with the ladies.

11. Khafi

Khafi Kareem is a police officer in the UK. She is not only hoping to win the prize money, she wants the exposure that being in Big Brother Naija House brings so that she can do good in the society

12. Kim Oprah

Kim Oprah is a psychologist, beauty queen and brand influencer who wants us to expect a lot of manipulation and sarcasm. She is in the house for the experience and money. She is single and ready to mingle

13. Mercy

26-year-old Mercy Eke is a video vixen and business woman based in Lagos. She loves cooking, swimming, traveling and dancing. She’s in the house for the money

14. Mike

Mike Edwards is a professional athlete and owner of the first Black-Owned cigar line in the United Kingdom. The highest point in his life was the day he got married to the love of his life, who is also an athlete. He is in the house for the exposure.

15. Nelson

Nelson is a masseuse and past winner of the Mr Universe contest in Nigeria. He is 26, from Rivers State, single and available.

16. Omashola

Omashola is a Model and Entrepreneur from Delta State. He loves playing basketball, cooking and ‘talking’. He represents the “Warri no dey carry last” movement.

17. Seyi

Seyi is the grandson of Obafemi Awolowo. Also known as ‘the doctor’, he is 30, not single and not available. He’s in the house for the experience, and to enjoy himself.

18. Sir Dee

Sir Dee is a 28-year-old banker from Kogi State. He’s in the house for money and experience. According to him, his bosses do not know he’s on the Big Brother show

19. Tacha

Tacha is 23-year-old Instagram sensation from Rivers State. The self-styled Portharcourt First Daughter loves to make money and cause trouble. She believes she’s the pepper in pepper dem, and all the others came to escort her.

20. Thelma

Thelma is 26, from Imo State. She’s in the house for the experience and the money. She’s not single!

21. Tuoyo

Tuoyo is a 24-year-old psychotherapist, part time stripper and fitness trainer. He’s a flirt.
