On Sunday June 30th, during the live screening of the 2019 Big Brother Naija show, Pepsi announced two new Pepsi brand ambassadors; Teni and Burna Boy. The news was received with excitement on social media and beyond as both acts have been phenomenal in recent years.
Teni was a hit back to back, and amongst other accolades, she carted home the Headies Rookie award for 2018, over heavyweights like Peruzzi.
Burna Boy had the biggest concert of 2018, won the most valuable awards at the Soundcity Awards, performed at Coachella, and only recently received a BET for his efforts in the game.
It was therefore expected that they will be rewarded with endorsement deals by the soft drink behemoth.
Pepsi is inarguably one of the biggest supporters of sports and entertainment in Nigeria. They have refreshed star-studded concerts, powered world-class sporting events and signed the biggest names in the entertainment industry as ambassadors.

Cuppy
Obi
Spinall
… and of course, the newest signees, Teni and Burna Boy.
