Over the weekend, the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) celebrated a decade of honoring exceptional talent in African cinema and television at its milestone 10th edition. The night was filled with unforgettable moments as deserving winners emerged, contributing to the rich tapestry of African storytelling.
Excellence echoed throughout the event, with “Breath of Life” shining brightest after taking the most awards, including Best Movie and Best Director.
Special accolades were also given, recognizing the exceptional contributions of industry greats like Iya Rainbow and Richard Mofe Damijo who both received the Industry Merit Award. Chimezie Imo who has starred in over 30 films, including Breath of Life received a trailblazer nod.
