I read a lot. Over the last 3 years, I read a lot of books. It has changed my life. I used to read very little in school. Once I discovered the business and self-help genre I started devouring books. It’s incredible how one book can change your perspective on life.
The good news is we all have the power to completely transform our mindset. Yes, it takes time and a whole lot of effort, but it’s more than worth it. The key is to constantly feed our minds with content that helps us uncover those limiting beliefs that are holding us back and teaches us how to think about things in a completely new way. Here, I’m sharing six of of my favorite life changing books that have completely changed the game for me — and I know they’ll do the same for you.
Think and Grow Rich
Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill is a classic that everyone should read. It was originally published in 1937 so the language is not as fresh and fun as other books, but the content is still 100% relevant today. The book delves into the secrets behind the wealth of some of the richest people in history, including Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, and Thomas Edison. The principles are simple but powerful — cultivate a burning desire for what you want, back it with unwavering faith, and take persistent action to make it happen.
Worthy
I seriously can’t recommend Nancy Levin’s Worthy enough. While most money mindset books touch on the surface level beliefs around money, this one digs way deeper and really gets to the heart of the issue: our self-worth. In order to increase our net worth, we must deeply know and believe we are worthy of the life and the wealth we really want, and that’s what this book is all about. It’s filled with writing exercises that will help you uncover limiting beliefs that you probably didn’t even know were there. Get ready for some really big shifts while reading this one.
Rich Dad, Poor Dad
This book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Was introduced to me by my Elder brother and he made a statement, “read this book and you will understand how the rich get and remains rich”. I never understood how wealth worked. This book completely changed the way I think about money and creating wealth. Its deals in details about the importance of rick and how to stack risk on your own level.
The Alchemist
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I recommend this book to everyone who has dreams of living an adventure. Because life is an adventure. It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.
Mindset
Mindset by Carol Dweck. There are two mindsets. Fixed mindset and growth mindset. This book will open the whole new world for your growth potential.
The Law of Divine Compensation
If you don’t already know who Marianne Williamson is, please look her up. She is like the Beyonce of spirituality. The Law of Divine Compensation is one of my favorite books of hers. It takes a super spiritual approach to money. So if woo-woo things aren’t your cup of tea, then this might not be the book for you. But if you are, read it ASAP. It’ll help you connect to why your work matters in the world and why you deserve to be well compensated for it. You can thank me later.
