Pastor E.A Adeboye
It is no surprise that Pastor Enoch Adejayan Adeboye also known as E.A Adeboye is one of the most respected man of God in the country. He was born on the 2nd of March 1942 in Osun state. Not only is he a popular pastor but a very powerful preacher of the gospel.
He is the current General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God(RCCG) which is one of the biggest pentecostal churches in Nigeria today. It is said that he ranks as one of the most powerful pastors in Africa because of his influence in Christianity. He trained and anointed most of the powerful men of God we see today and most times referred to as ‘Papa’ or ‘Spiritual Grand Father’.
The RCCG is one of the fastest growing churches in Nigeria with branches all over the 36 states of the federation and in London and the United States . In Lagos alone, nearly every street has a branch or fellowship centre of the church. It has been said that this is in line with Adeboye’s vision to spread the gospel.
Bishop David Oyedepo
You might be wondering whether David Oyedepo is the most respected pastor in Africa because of his rich life style. Well, the founder and General Overseer of Faith Tabernacle is one of the influential preachers in the country today.
In fact his popularity has spread through out the world and it is said that he has touched many lives worldwide due to the way he preaches and the life he leads. Although most preachers criticize him due to the prosperity gospel he preaches. David Oyedepo spiritual life was never questioned as he was ordained by God through pastor E. A ADEBOYE in 1983.
Bishop David Oyedepo is also the Chancellor of Covenant University in Ogun state and Landmark University in Kwara state in an interview said he plans to establish seven universities.
Dr. Paul Idoko Enenche
Dr. Paul Enenches’ lifestyle may be an example to follow for a lot of Nigerians. Together with his wife, they have managed to change lives of Nigerians. He is a man of science and a man of God. These two things make him different from other pastors.
Dr. Paul is well-known for his direct speech style. According to him, it helps people to be free and and closer to God.
He has achieved great deeds and has recently set a record of owning the highest capacity of over 50,000 people church auditorium in Nigeria.
He created a Bible training programme. Its currently known as the Dunamis School of Ministry. According to Doctor Paul Enenche, he wanted to create a Bible course to train future leaders and pastors. His wife, Dr. Becky came up with another idea for their church. Together they created the Seeds of Destiny. Its a daily guide published monthly and has touched a lot of lives.
Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka
Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka is the most respected catholic priest in the country that performs miracles and prophecies. A known prophecy was when he said that Buhari would win the presidential election in 2015 against Goodluck Ebere Jonathan. A lot of stories also spread about his encounter with hired assassins sent to kill him but couldn’t. His songs also are powerful and also led to a lot of miracles.
The kind of crowd reverend father Mbaka pulls during crusades would tell you that his influence in Christianity and in the catholic faith is overwhelming. His life style also speaks for him as it is said that he leads a holy life in reverence of God. He is the founder of the biggest catholic ministry in the country, Adoration ministry located in Enugu state.
William Folorunso Kumuyi
Also on the list of the most respected men of God is the founder of Deeper Life Bible Church, Dr William Kumuyi. He is a popular man of God who preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ with great enthusiasm.
It was said that W.F Kumuyi was an education lecturer at UNILAG before becoming a pastor. Although his wife is late, many testify to the holy lifestyle he lives.
The church is also strong in house fellowship programmes as a way of encouraging spiritual growth. The thrust of the church is an emphasis on righteousness and holiness.

He is one of the popular richest pastors in Nigeria that is known for healing miracles. Born on 7th December, 1961, he founded Christ Embassy which now have branches not only in the country but even beyond.
He is popularly known for his accent, appearane and knowledge of the word of God.
He is man of God who have written more than 70 inspirational and devotional books and is rumoured to own a private jet.
Matthew Ashimolowo
Ashimolowo was a muslim before he got converted to Christianity at the age of 20 by enrolling in a Bible school. This was after the death of his father.
According to Forbes, Ashimolowo’s net worth is estimated between $6-10 million. He is among the richest pastors in the world and a very influential man of God in the country. He is the founder and Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London.
Ayo Oritsejafor
Ayodele Joseph Oritsegbubemi Oritsejafor, known as Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, is the founding and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, located in Warri, Nigeria. He became the national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on 7 February 2005, a position he held for five years. In July 2010, Oritsejafor was elected President of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), the apex body of all Christians in the country. In doing so he became the first Pentecostal leader to hold the position. Oritsejafor was the first to launch a Miracle crusade from Africa to a world audience via satellite in 1987 with evangelist Joe Martins.
