Following the fresh upsurge of attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, several Nigerian celebrities have taken to social media to condemn the inhumane assault. These concerned celebrities while admonishing for oneness among Africans, have also called on the Nigerian government to take immediate actions.
The #Xenophobia attacks by some South Africans against Nigerians and other foreign Nationals are completely heartbreaking. Sad to see people that suffered through decades of apartheid, violence and hatred, now turning around to do the same/worse to others. (1)

The people that South Africans look up to should PLEASE speak up and denounce #Xenophobia. The Government, business people, athletes, artists, media personalities, and even the average citizens have a responsibility to stand up for justice the way the world stood up for SA (2)

This is not the SA that Mandela fought and sacrificed for. This is not the SA that a lot of us have come to know and love. I just watched a video of a man burnt alive in front of a crowd. It's sick, and heartbreaking. "Hell must be empty because all the demons are here". Sigh (3)

Africa's problem is AFRICANS. Some in Government, some in the general population.. but Africa's problem is Africans. I keep pushing for the day that the rest of us will rise to become our solution. May God help us. And may we realize that Heaven helps those who help themselves.

President muhamadu Buhari, senetors, governors, traditional rulers, ministers, prominent nigerians, inspector generals,PDP/APC.This is becoming too shameful. How can we have no dignity in our polity. Nigerians are being killed home and abroad and its all politics as usual. Shame.

Karma has no deadline!
Karma is a bitch but I love her!
Revenge will never solve anything but trust me, Karma will.
It’s Karma season.
Dear Karma I have a list of people you missed. #SayNoToXenophobia pic.twitter.com/u8QORECyX5
See, there’s not enough punditry that can explain brothers killing brothers. It’s age old, it’s roots are borne out of greed and jealousy and God hates all 3 of them.
— BIG FISH 🦈 (@adekunleGOLD) September 3, 2019
Killing each other is like killing soldiers in your army.
In all of these, I'm really curious about what the Nigerian Government is doing – and by doing, I'm not talking about another stupid headline saying "FG condemns these killings." ACT!!!
— BIG FISH 🦈 (@adekunleGOLD) September 3, 2019
Disheartening to watch these videos from my home! You’re fighting the wrong war , fighting the wrong people. How do we walk around hating each other? Africa is one! We’re all the same people! Pls don’t loose yourself! #SayNoToXenophobia One Love ❤️

Worst part of this thing is South Africans (or any other foreign nationals) will never feel unsafe in Nigeria.
— ZAHEER! (@iam_YCee) September 3, 2019
We even treat foreigners better than we treat ourselves, which I believe needs to change. The rest of the world doesn’t respect us Cos we don’t respect ourselves
After seeing the pictures and videos, I have made up my mind!
— Daddy Freeze (@DaddyFRZ) September 2, 2019
Personally, I have boycotted South Africa and gradually I’m boycotting all South African products.
I won’t enrich a nation that treats my brothers and sisters like animals. ~FRZ#Xenophobia
Reported attacks against Nigerians in South Africa is unacceptable and stands condemned. Urgent steps need to be taken with the SA authorities and the African Union to bring an end to this ill wind that can only end up destroying the fabric of our African brotherhood. -AA

Nothing angers me more than the way in which Nigerians are being subjected to mass murder and persecution in #SouthAfrica. The people and @GovernmentZA will pay heavily for every drop of Nigerian blood that they have spilt. We have long memories. Sooner or later we will retaliate.
— Femi Fani-Kayode (@realFFK) September 2, 2019
The Boers never butchered Nigerians in apartheid #SouthAfrica.Black South Africans have forgotten the role Nigeria played in their liberation.Had it not been for us they would still be nothing but hewers of wood and drawers of water.#XenophobicAttacks #Xenophobia @GovernmentZA
— Femi Fani-Kayode (@realFFK) September 3, 2019
It’s like when someone is filled with so much anger towards you and you are not the one they should be fighting. What do you do? How do you make them see that we are supposed to unite to fight real devil, poverty, oppression … pic.twitter.com/U2DajwNCpj

BLACK ON BLACK ?.African man think o think . We all stood up against apartheid in the times of Botha and MAgret tacha .Mandela preached for forgiveness upon his release . Now we are the targets?

Grant us the wisdom to realise that we are one & the same!! Grant us the wisdom to fight the real Enemy which is Poverty, Hunger, Corruption, Oppression, Economic & Mental Slavery!! Open our eyes oh JAH!!!
— The Evil Genius (@mreazi) September 2, 2019
Why is our government always interested in the stories the oppressors wants to say? It is not like they won’t come & “apologize “. We know they will but what is the lesson they learnt cos we learnt ours and that is, they didn’t wait for us to come tell the stories before attack.
