As we approach the end with the last remaining five housemates, some of us have already picked our favourites for prize, but in reality, what are their chances? who has the upper hand? and will there be an upset?
Mercy
Mercy is arguably the favourite to win the game tonight. With her massive fan base both from the pre and post Tacha incident, the huge backing she has received from celebrities like MC Galaxy and Cubana Chief Priest and most importantly the exit of Tacha, she stands as the firm favourite for the 60 million worth of prizes. Only time will tell.
Mike
Its safe to say everybody loves Mike, his charming and cool personality has enamored him to Nigerians. Mike has been saved on countless occasions, proving that the love also translates to voting. Mike also has the support of some huge names, most notably MC Oluomo, and when you put into consideration the fact that some of his fans in the U.K would have voted with pounds, he definitely has a huge chance of pipping mercy for the win.
Frodd
Frodd started the game nit to well as fans did not initially take liking to his personality. However, as the game progressed, the Anambra native became stronger and has managed to garner a huge fan base, and this is evident in the amount of times he has survived eviction. Although he is not an outright favourite, one can never really tell, especially if he had the backing of Alaba and Onitsha main market, you know what I mean.
Seyi
Seyi came into the game as a very strong contender for the price but slowly faded as the game progressed. Nevertheless with the name he carries, one cannot rule him out as the might of his family may come into play tonight.
Omashola
Throughout the duration of the show, Omashola has maintained his status as a very strong contender. Along with Mike and Frodd, he has been one of the most nominated housemates this season, and each time, he has been saved. Omashola’s chances might not be as strong as Mercy and Mike’s, but he was lucky on Monday when Frodd used his ultimate power and who knows, the “Warri” boy can be a second time lucky tonight.
