The Future Awards Nominees and Predictions

The Future Awards Africa celebrates young people, between the ages of 18 and 31, who have made outstanding achievement in the year under consideration.

The #TFAA2018 is tonight and I have made a list of nominees who I think should win for each category.

The Future Awards Africa Prize for Acting

2. Maryam Booth (24)
3. Bisola Aiyeola (32)
4. Adesua Etomi (31)
5. Alex Ekubo (32)

This should be between Zainab and Adesua. I like both of them but I think Adesua would get this.

2. Hauwa Ojeifo (26)
3. Samira Sanusi (30)
4. Gospel Martins (30)
5. Uche Kenneth (31)

I’ve seen the works of Charles (SME 100 Nigeria), Hauwa (She Writes Woman) and Samira’s Sickle Cell Foundation. They are all amazing but I think Charles will get this. SME 100 Nigeria has continuously empowered youths.

The Future Awards Africa Prize for Agriculture

1. Abdulfatah Sadiq (31)
2. Abubakar Sadiq Falalu (28)
3. Jesse Osiobe (31)
4. Oluwafemi Aliu (25)

They have all put in the work that’s why they got nominated in the first place but I think Chidi Ajaere is taking this home. GIGM is doing amazing in business. I’ve seen it in almost every state I’ve been to.

He’s the Creative Director of UCHEUGO DIGITAL, a Creative Development Agency based in Lagos, Nigeria. He solves brand identity and design problems by creating experiences for startups, entertainment brands, personal brands and corporate brands. Uche has done creative jobs for your favorites. Yes! I said it! He’s also the founder of FanShopa, a Tech-entertainment company. I have worked with him and he totally deserves this.

Awesome sports men and women! But Ahmed Musa is winning this.

1. Nadine Ibrahim (24)
2. Faraday Okoro (31)
3. Michael Psalmist Akinrogunde (23)
4. Adelapo ‘Lowladee’ Adeleke (28)

Scratch that! Brenda is a scholarship search strategist. She’s a human growth and success enthusiast.

Brenda has consistently supported youth development since I started following her on Twitter. She started this year with a slogan “2018 Must Obey”. People have gotten education/scholarship opportunities through her. She’s doing amazing and I am high-key rooting for her.

4. Rukayat Mope Azeez-Lawal (31)
5. Daniel Philemon Saredau (30)

Betta Edu is doing amazing in Cross River. Dami Ajayi is good too! But I think Ebenezer Wikina should win this.

The Future Awards Prize for Young Person of the year

1. Davido Adeleke (26)

2. Samson Itodo (32)

3. Nemitari Ajienka (24)

4. Dr. Mahmoud Maina (32)

5. Tomi Adeyemi (25)

This one is really tough. Really really tough. Davido has had a terrific couple years, and grown from filling up huge arenas to starting a label with superstars in their own right. He will most likely win it. But the work Samson Itodo did with Not Too Young To Run is an important one for the country so he is also a strong contender. Tomi too is great, but with her recent run-in with the legendary Nora Roberts, she may be taken out of consideration. In summary, Davido should win this.

PS: This is my opinion but may the best man win! Congratulations to everyone, and goodluck to my faves!
