Having passed through the necessary screening exercise, and affirmed by the Senate, the new set of ministers have been handed their portfolios and inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Buhari remains the minister of petroleum while Lai Mohammaed and Chris Ngige also retained their portfolios as ministers of information and labour respectively. One significant change was the removal of power from Raji Fashola’s portfolio. The responsibility was subsequently handed over to Engr. Sale Mamman from Taraba.
