- Muyeez
Muyeez is a young Nigerian singer who rose to fame with his debut single “Instagram” featuring Seyi Vibez. Known for his unique sound and captivating freestyles on Instagram and TikTok, he began his music journey at the age of 8.
In April 2024, Muyeez caught Seyi Vibez’s attention with a freestyle video in which he sang about unrequited love and life’s struggles, incorporating several inspirational quotes. Seyi Vibez liked the freestyle, which was then mixed and mastered into the song “Instagram.” This marked the start of Muyeez’s professional music career.
Following the production of “Instagram,” Muyeez and his representative were officially signed to Vibez Inc., a record label owned by Seyi Vibez.
The success of “Instagram” earned Muyeez a spot in Nigerian music history, making him the youngest Nigerian artist to have a chart-topping song on Apple Music Nigeria at just 16 years old.
- Uncle Waffles
Uncle Waffles, whose real name is Lungelihle Zwane, is a South African singer, songwriter, record producer, and DJ. She rose to prominence in the South African music scene and is most recognized for her contributions to the Amapiano sub-genre. Uncle Waffles’ music career began in 2019 when she started releasing songs on social media channels. Her distinct sound, which combines Afrobeats, R&B, and electronic music, quickly gained popularity, and she became a viral hit. In 2020, she released her debut track “Tanzania,” which became a hit in Africa and elsewhere. She has since recorded other successful singles, including “Sponono” and “uMgogo Wami.” In April 2023, she became the first Amapiano performer to appear at the Coachella Festival, demonstrating her growing reputation and impact on the global stage.
She was also the first Amapiano DJ to headline the Wireless Festival in London.
- Qing Madi
Nigerian artist and dancer Chimamanda Pearl Chukwu, known by her stage name Qing Madi, was born in Benin City on July 1, 2006. Qing Madi is a young Nigerian singer-songwriter and performer celebrated for her powerful vocals, compelling stage presence, and genre-defying style. Her music blends Afrobeats, R&B, and pop, delivering a unique and infectious experience for listeners. She developed an interest in music at the age of seven and became a recording artist by sixteen. Qing Madi was inspired by the lyrical prowess of artists, particularly Kendrick Lamar, who sparked her interest in music and poetry writing.
Her song “Ole” featuring BNXN brought her into the limelight, and she has since made significant strides, collaborating with renowned local and international artists like Chloe Bailey.

- Taves
Taves, a rising Nigerian music artist, gained fame with his hit single “Folake.” Born Toluwanimi Aluko and known as Taves, he hails from Ibadan. His music, a blend of pop, soul, and Afrobeat, offers a captivating and delightful experience for listeners. Taves was first introduced by popular Afrobeats singer BNXN fka Buju. He cites inspiration from Nigerian music legends like Fela Kuti, Wizkid, and King Sunny Ade, as well as international superstars Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean. Taves has been featured on various music playlists and radio stations.
Rapidly building a fan base across Africa and beyond, Taves is an artist to watch out for.
- Bloody Civilian
Emoseh Khamofu, also known as Bloody Civilian, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer signed to 0207 Def Jam, the UK wing of Def Jam Recordings. She is best known for her singles “How To Kill A Man” and “Wake Up” with Rema, which were used as the soundtrack for the American superhero film Black Panther in 2022. She is also well-known for her appearance on “Blood on the Dance Floor ” alongside ODUMODU BLVCK.
The Guardian describes her as one of the creative mavericks in the Nigerian music scene. On October 9, 2023, she was rated number one on TurnTable’s NXT Emerging Top Artistes. On November 6, 2023, she ranked number sixteen on TurnTable’s chart.
