Best TV Series of all time

A lot has been said about movies and less about TV series otherwise known as seasonal movies. Although, Game of thrones is quite trending, there are many other TV series that are thrilling and interesting, (arguably) more interesting than Game of thrones.

Game of Thrones | 2011

This is one of the most talked about TV series of all time,they had there first premiere in 2011 and have been on the high demand since then as it had glued its fans to the screen with its diverse storyline.

Its new and final season is set to premier on the 14 of April, 2019.

The Walking Dead | 2010

If you are a fan of scary and zombie movies, then you must love this series. The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series where the whole country was wiped out by Zombies and the few who are left fight for their survival and keep moving in search of a better place.

It all started as the sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes, who awakens from a coma to discover a world overrun by zombies, commonly referred to as “walkers”. Grimes reunites with his family and becomes the leader of a group of other survivors. Together, they struggle to adapt to a post-apocalyptic world filled with walkers and opposing groups of survivors, who are often more dangerous than the walkers themselves. Much of the series takes place in and around Atlanta, Georgia, and later Alexandria, Virginia.

Its first premier was on October 31, 2010.

Star Trek : Discovery | 2017

This is a science fiction action series. Star Trek is a franchise which goes way back to 1966. Since then a lot has been released about this science fiction movie.

Star Trek: Discovery is an American television series created for CBS All Access by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman. It is the first series developed specifically for that service, and the first Star Trek series since Star Trek: Enterprise concluded in 2005. Set roughly a decade before the events of the original Star Trek series and separate from the timeline of the concurrently produced feature films, Discovery explores the Federation–Klingon war while following the crew of the USS Discovery.

24 | 2001

This is one of the oldest seasonal movies of all time. Its a crime thriller, espionage and action filled movie and quite intense.

Each season, comprising 24 episodes, covers 24 hours in Bauer’s life using the real time method of narration. Premiering on November 6, 2001, the show spanned 192 episodes over eight seasons; the series finale broadcast on May 24, 2010. In addition, a television film, 24: Redemption, was broadcast between seasons six and seven, on November 23, 2008. 24 returned with a ninth season titled 24: Live Another Day, which aired from May 5 to July 14, 2014. 24: Legacy, a spin-off series featuring new characters, premiered on February 5, 2017. After the cancellation of Legacy in June 2017, Fox announced its plan to develop a new incarnation of the franchise.

Prison Break | 2005

This was a movie for guys especially as it was about two brothers, Lincoln Burrows, one of whom has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit due to a political conspiracy, and the other (Michael Scofield) who devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison and clear his name. In other to accomplish this plan, he met with the likes of Tbag and others.

Prison Break is an American television serial drama created by Paul Scheuring, that was broadcast on Fox for four seasons, with 81 episodes from August 29, 2005 to May 15, 2009, and a fifth season which aired from April 4, to May 30, 2017.

Merlin |2008

Merlin is a reimagining of the legend in which the future King Arthur and Merlin are young contemporaries. Arthur’s father Uther Pendragon has banned magic in Camelot, its use punishable by death, forcing Merlin to keep his magical powers secret from everyone in Camelot other than his mentor Gaius. Arthur grows from a young, self-absorbed boy to the mighty king in the legends, and Merlin develops into his colossal role in creating the powerful Camelot. It was broadcast on BBC One from 20 September 2008 to 24 December 2012 for a total of 65 episodes.

Smallville | 2001

This is the origin of superman featuring Clark Kent (Tom Welling) in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, before he becomes known as Superman. The first four seasons focus on Clark and his friends in high school. After season five Smallville ventures into adult settings, eventually focusing on his career at the Daily Planet and introducing other DC comic-book superheroes and villains. Since its first season, the series received accolades ranging from Emmys to Teen Choice Awards. It also had an average of 4.3 million viewers.

Avatar: The Last Airbender | 2005

Avatar made childhood fun for a lot of people as parents at that time preferred kids staying out of corrupt adult movie.

The series began in February 2005 and concluded in July 2008 with a two-hour episode titled Sozin’s Comet. Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in an Asiatic-like world in which some people can manipulate the classical elements (Water, air, fire and earth) with psychokinetic variants of the Chinese martial arts known as “bending”. The series is presented in a style that combines anime with American cartoons and relies on the imagery of East/South Asian, Inuit, and New World societies. It follows the protagonist, 12-year-old Aang and his friends, who must bring peace and unity to the world by ending the Fire Lord’s war with three nations.

Greg’s Anatomy | 2005

The fictional series focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attending physicians, as they develop into seasoned doctors while trying to maintain personal lives and relationships.

The series was designed to be racially diverse and used color-blind casting. It revolves around the title character, Dr. Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo, first featured as an intern. The original cast consisted of nine star-billed actors: Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, T. R. Knight, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey. The cast has undergone major changes through the series’ run, with many members leaving and being replaced by others. In its fifteenth season, the show has a large ensemble of eleven actors, including four characters from the original cast (Meredith Grey, Alex Karev, Miranda Bailey, and Richard Webber).

Kyle XY |2006

This TV series set a lot of people to find their love for science as this movie was filled with calculations and scientific formulas.

The central character is a teenage boy (Matt Dallas) who awakens naked in a forest outside Seattle, Washington, with no more knowledge or abilities than a newborn and no belly button. He is taken in by a family and given the name Kyle. The series follows Kyle as he tries to solve the puzzles of who he is and why he has no memory before that day.

The show premiered June 26, 2006, on the ABC Family cable channel. However, On January 31, 2009, ABC Family announced that Kyle XY would not return for a fourth season. The season finale of the show aired on Monday, March 16, 2009, at 9/8c on ABC Family, leaving several unresolved dramatic cliffhangers.
