WIZKID, BNXN, BURNABOY, TEMS AND MADE IN LAGOS WIN BIG AT THE 2022 HEADIES AWARD

On the day Kanye West announced “Essence” by Wizkid and Tems as the “Best song in the history of music to date, the creme-de-la-creme of Afrobeats and Nigerians at home and in the diaspora gathered at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta to celebrate Afrobeats and African music.

The 15th edition of the Headies Award celebrates Afrobeats, Nigeria and African music, and the continent’s biggest music stars who have helped to shape the sound and spread the music beyond Africa.
