Blaqbonez, the Nigerian rapper, commands the runway at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 in a standout cream double-breasted suit layered over a colorful abstract-printed shirt, with matching wide-leg pants and chunky black loafers.

Paris Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2026 has once again proven to be a global stage for celebrating diversity, creativity, and bold style. Among the standout moments of the womenswear presentations, Nigerians have made an indelible mark, blending African heritage with high fashion to captivate audiences worldwide.

Here, we spotlight seven Nigerian personalities who have taken center stage.

1. Temi Ajibade (formerly Otedola)

Temi Ajibade, a Nigerian actress, entrepreneur, and fashion influencer, has solidified her place as a global style icon during this year’s PFW. As L’Oréal Paris’s first Nigerian Digital Ambassador, Temi made a striking appearance on the L’Oréal Paris Défilé runway, an event celebrated for its commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. Dressed in a sleek black gown adorned with delicate sheer lace panels and a flowing tulle skirt, Temi was a powerful representation of African excellence on one of the world’s most prestigious stages.

Beyond the runway, Temi attended the Casablanca Womenswear SS26 show, where she turned heads alongside her husband, Afrobeats superstar Mr Eazi.

2. Torishéju Dumi

Torishéju Dumi, a British-Nigerian designer whose SS26 collection, titled “DŪRER,” has been a highlight of the season. Fresh off her LVMH Prize win, Dumi presented a collection that deconstructs traditional uniforms into avant-garde, almost surreal silhouettes.

The “DŪRER” show, opened by supermodel Naomi Campbell, was a testament to Dumi’s rising star power. Fashion critics and attendees alike have praised her for pushing boundaries, with her collection sparking conversations about the future of global fashion. Dumi’s work at PFW is a powerful reminder of the Nigerian diaspora’s impact, proving that African designers are not just participating but leading the charge in shaping industry trends.

3. Tems

Grammy-winning songstress Tems brought soulful elegance to Mugler’s SS26 debut, spotted front row with creative director Miguel Castro Freitas. Her appearance reaffirmed her status as a global style icon, effortlessly blending Naija’s cultural depth with high fashion’s bold aesthetic.

From bars to the runway, Blaqbonez’s also made a Bold Walk at Paris Fashion Week.

Blaqbonez has always known how to command attention  from his sharp lyrics and audacious visuals to his self-proclaimed “Best Rapper in Africa” confidence. But this time, the rapper turned heads for a completely different reason: his debut on the runway at Paris Fashion Week 2025.

In a surprise appearance that broke the internet, Blaqbonez strutted for the iconic Vivienne Westwood, one of fashion’s most rebellious and influential houses. For many fans, it wasn’t just another celebrity fashion cameo , it was a full-circle moment for an artist who has always used style as part of his identity. Blaqbonez’s dapper flex underscored the versatility of Nigeria’s creative talents.

5. Davido

Davido brought his larger-than-life energy to Paris, commanding attention at Messika SS26 alongside Omah Lay, Gunna, and Demi Lovato. His bold street-to-front-row drip sparked buzz about potential luxury brand collabs. Davido’s vibrant presence highlighted Nigeria’s cultural dominance, showing how Afrobeats stars are shaping fashion’s elite circles with unapologetic flair.

6. Mr Eazi

Mr Eazi brought his signature charisma to the front row of the Casablanca Womenswear SS26 show, seated alongside Temi in a tailored, Afro-futuristic ensemble that married vibrant prints with relaxed luxury. While he didn’t walk the runway, his presence amplified Nigeria’s growing influence in high fashion, showcasing how our music icons are seamlessly crossing into luxury spaces.

7. Omah Lay

He turned heads in a white short-sleeved button-up layered under a vibrant multicolored knitted cardigan with bold abstract patterns in blues and reds, paired with relaxed trousers and oversized shoes. He continued his fashion takeover at Messika, Vetements, and Isabel Marant SS26 shows, each time infusing Naija’s cool factor with his Elvis-inspired flair.

The Bigger Picture: Nigeria’s Growing Influence

The presence of Temi Otedola, Blaq Bonez and Torishéju Dumi at Paris Fashion Week SS26 is part of a broader narrative of Nigerian talent taking the global stage. Their contributions highlight the richness of African culture, from Temi’s poised elegance to Dumi’s boundary-pushing designs to Blaq’s versatility. These people are not only representing Nigeria but also redefining what it means to be a global fashion icon in 2025.
